The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II Spoilers and Speculations

The countdown to the final installment of The Twilight Saga is underway with Breaking Dawn Part II releasing in just few short weeks. If you cannot wait that long to get the details on how the second part of Stephanie’s Myers final book in the twilight series plays out on the big screen, read on for lots of spoilery fun and be sure to check out the latest screen stills released from Summit Entertainment in the gallery below!
By now, most of you already know that the first seven minutes of  Breaking Dawn Part II were shown to the San Diego Comic Con audience this summer. If you were lucky enough to be there, you may already know some of these details, but for everyone else out there wondering if the movie picks up directly where the last one left off the answer is yes!

Breaking Dawn Part I left off with Bella’s newly red vampire eyes springing open and we pick up with seeing those bright red eyes at the start of Breaking Dawn Part II before the point of view changes to that of Bella herself. You’ll then get to see the world through Bella’s new vampire vision eyes and a sweet reunion with Edward. The newly made vampire mom then wants to see her daughter, Renesmee, but Edward tells her they need to go for a hunt first leading to a visually stunning sequence in the woods. Bella’s ability to avoid human blood and her impressive hunting skills carry over directly from the book to the movie leaving her vampire husband very impressed. (source 1,2, & 3)

Bella and Edward then return to the Cullen home. Jacob is there waiting for them, but Bella is concerned she might hurt him since she is newly turned. When he tells her being around him is a test run for how she’ll react around her child, Bella wants to know why he’s suddenly so concerned about the baby (boy does she have a surprise in store…) You’re then treated to a cute moment between Edward and Jacob as Bella goes off to see her child for the first time. Another clip shown at Comic Con of was of Bella preparing to see her father, Charlie, for the first time since she has become a vampire. It plays out very similar to the book with Bella learning to put in contacts to hide her red eyes and being coached on how to look like she’s breathing and to blink every now and then. It showcases a comedic side of Stewart/Bella that is unexpected and rather entertaining. (source 12, & 3)
Besides what has been revealed in those Comic Con clips, there is a lot of other information floating around about which scenes from the book you’ll see in the movie. Let’s start with a little more about Renesmee. The scene where Bella finds out Jacob has imprinted on Renesmee will be turning physical like in the book and both Jacob and Seth will be taking part. The scene where Charlie visits the Cullens will follow closely to the book as well with Charlie realizing Renesmee is Edward and Bella’s child. From what we’ve heard, it promises to be as entertaining as in the book with Billy Burke doing an excellent job as a bewildered Charlie. And speaking of Charlie and Jacob, the later will indeed be stripping down in front on Charlie so expect Lautner to be showing some skin (to the delight of women everywhere). (source 3 & 4)
It has also been revealed that there will be some more “intimate” scenes between Edward and Bella (will we see the cottage?), and that the new and improved Bella will be “strong, sensual, and utterly confident.” She will also be a very protective mother, ferociously guarding her very special daughter. You’ll see a change in Edward as well, who won’t have to worry about “breaking” his lady love anymore and can finally relax a little with his bride. He also takes on a very paternal side with his daughter. In fact, the movie will contain as scene between Edward and Renesmee specially written for the movie. The two will be playing a piano duet of a song Edward wrote for his daughter. (source 4567)
One scene from the book you will not be seeing is the famous “dog-bowl scene,” with Rosalie and Jacob. In the book, Rosalie gives Jacob dog bowl of food with the name “Fido” on the side side. In return, he throws the bowl back at her, causing her to scream, “You. Got. Food. In. My. Hair.” It becomes a turning point in their relationship where they start to warm to each other as friends. Apparently the scene was filmed, but wound up on the cutting room floor. I am thinking that will most definitely be winding up as a special feature when the film is eventually released on Bluray and DVD. (source 8 )
