Does this mean Ryan Murphy is Team Jacob? Murphy has cast Twilight star Taylor Lautner in season 2 of the Fox horror-comedyScream Queens.
For its second season, Queens will be set in a hospital owned by Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). The Chanels — Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, and Billie Lourd — are now hospital employees as well as Hester (Lea Michele) and Zayday (Keke Palmer).
Lautner will play Dr. Cassidy Cascade, a doc who becomes involved with Lourd’s Chanel #3. The character suffers from a bizarre medical condition and finds himself a suspect following a wave of tragedies at the hospital.
It was announced last week that John Stamos (Grandfathered) would be joining season 2 as well as surgeon Dr. Brock Holt.
Scream Queens, created by Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, premieres Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
