Taylor Lautner Talks Kristen Stewart, Cheating, and Reconciliations

Taylor Lautner recently dished on love in general, including cheating and the art of reconciling with exes. He also talked about his friend and costar Kristen Stewart who is, sadly, more than familiar with both of those topics.

In a recent interview in the December issue of Cosmopolitan, Lautner, the otherTwilight heart-throb, talked about a variety of subjects including two that hisBreaking Dawn costars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might deem a bit too close to their own current situation for comfort. Ever the gentleman, Lautner managed to opine respectfully yet honestly on the subjects of cheating and reconnecting with ex lovers. Sound familiar, KStew?

"To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations," Taylor ventured when the subject turned to cheating and the problem of regainingtrust," so I don't know [if trust can be regained.] It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don't want to give that if I haven't even been there myself."

Well said. Interestingly, TLaut was far less reticent when expressing his opinions about reconnecting with exes.

"I absolutely think it's possible," Taylor revealed. "It depends how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it's quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done. There's no ex out there who I'm not friends with today, and I'm extremely thankful for that."

Hmm. Wonder if TLaut is still friends with Taylor Swift?

Finally, Lautner had only positive things to say about Robert Pattinson's once errant and now reconciled lady-love, Kristen Stewart.

"Kristen Stewart is fantastic at everything she does," he stated diplomatically—er—unequivocally. "I'm always proud of her."

So, there you have it. Taylor Lautner—a gentleman and a good friend.
