Director Robert Rodriguez accepts the Anthony Quinn Award for Industry Excellence onstage during the 2013 NCLR ALMA Awards

I know Taylor would like to thank this man for giving him the opportunity to be in a movie that his son had a dream about sharks and when Taylor was cast he was only 13 yrs old in a hotel room reading the script and doing his signature sign of his karate moves that his son liked it and it was added in the movie and what is great that his son was picking the actors for "Shark boy and Lava girl" and Robert decided to cast Taylor for this movie cause he was impressed of Taylor not because of his karate moves but he can get into character and was willing to work hard i would like to gives thanks Robert for opening the doors for Taylor.
