Hold on to your hats Twilight fans, it looks like one of your favorite hunks could be up for a new steamy role. Big. News. Rumor has it that Taylor Lautner is up for the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. I know, I KNOW. Contain your excitement. While personally I never chose between Team Edward or Team Jacob, I will say that Tay Tay looks good without his shirt on -- a huge qualifier for whatever lucky guy gets the coveted sexy role. According to Hello magazine, Taylor could play Christian Grey alongside his new girlfriend Marie Avgeropoulos as Anastasia Steele, who can I mention bears a STRIKING resemblance to Selena Gomez. I mean it, look at her here.
Would they be cute on-screen together? Heck, I bet they would be. They're two super pretty people who would have awesome, authentic chemistry. But at the end of the day, I'm still more of a fan of the more realistic options. Ian Somerhalder, anyone?
Something about Taylor's persona just doesn't sit right with me for the role of Christian Grey. I think he is funny (have you seen Grown Ups 2?!) and definitely easy on the eyes, but he's just not Christian. Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer, on the other hand, they most certainly embody the sexiness and vibe that is the head of Grey Enterprises.
What we do know: The Fifty Shades actors haven't been chosen yet. For now, we'll just have to wait with bated breath and dream up some more steamy scenarios.
