From Jacob the teenage werewolf in the The Twilight Saga film series to leading man opposite Sigourney Weaver in Abduction, Taylor Lautner‘s career is on fire — so much so, it scored him a spot on Celebuzz’s Hollywood Power Index at number 23.
The actor, with his charming good looks and legions of loyal fans, said g00d-bye to Twilight last year. In November, Forbes magazine reported estimated the global box office gross of the film franchise to equal $2.5 billion — earning all three leading stars approximately $87 million in the last year-and-a-half.
Thanks to a new set of roles, Lautner’s bank account will continue to swell post-Twilight. The actor will take a stab at comedy this summer as ‘Frat Boy Andy,’ alongside veteran funny guys Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, David Spade and Chris Rock in Columbia Pictures’ Grown Ups 2.
